Golf content made easy

The three tools I built for my own golf videos: broadcast-style shot tracers, scorecard overlays and YouTube thumbnails. They run in your browser, your videos never leave your computer, and they're free while the kit is new.

What's in the kit

Three tools, one edit

In the order I use them: trace the shots, put the score on screen, then make the thumbnail that gets the click.

1Trace the shots

Trace My Shot

Broadcast-style shot tracers on your own videos. Mark the ball, auto-tracking follows it, and you export at full quality with your original sound.

4K exportUp to 24× zoom
2Show the score

Scorecard Overlays

Hole, score and shot graphics, a match-play overlay, a 9-hole scoreboard and a breaking-par tracker, ready to drop on top of your video.

See-through PNGPar, birdie, bogey
3Make the thumbnail

Thumbnail Maker

Drop in a photo or a frame from your video, type the headline, and get a YouTube thumbnail in the same style every time.

Course vlogs and lessons, with every shot traced in the kit.

New course vlogs and lessons go up on YouTube every week, with the short clips on Instagram.

How it works

From sign-up to first tracer

  1. Sign up with your email

You go straight into the kit. There's no password to remember and no card to enter.

  2. Open it on your computer

Use Chrome or Edge on a Mac or PC. On another computer, enter the same email and you're back in.

  3. Load your clips

Everything runs on your own computer. Nothing is uploaded, and finished files save straight to your folders.

Who made it

Dan Palmer Golf

I film course vlogs and lessons, and I built these tools for my own channel. I wanted my 4K clips to open straight away, tracers that look like the ones on TV, and posts for Instagram without starting from scratch every time. Now my whole edit runs on these.

Questions

Before you tee off

Is it really free?

Yes, for now. Later the kit will become a paid membership. If you tick the box when you sign up, you'll hear about it before anyone else.

Does it work on my phone?

Not yet. The tools handle long 4K clips, so they need Chrome or Edge on a Mac or PC. You can sign up on your phone and open the kit on your computer later.

Are my videos uploaded anywhere?

No. Your clips are opened and processed on your own computer, and the finished files save straight to your folders.

Got a question?

Email studio@danpalmergolf.com about the kit, or support@danpalmergolf.com if a tool isn't working.

What happens to my email?

It lets you into the kit. I only email you if you ticked the box, and I never sell or share your address. The privacy page has the details.
